AMETHYST & STERLING SILVER

Part of the RATNA SERIES - derived from the Sanskrit word for jewel or precious object - this piece draws inspiration from my Indian Gujarati heritage and the enduring traditions of adornment and craftsmanship.

Handcrafted in London, the necklace features hand-faceted amethyst and quartz gemstones, carefully strung with sterling silver beads and clasps. The natural variations and inclusions within each stone are embraced as part of their unique character, ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical. Each piece is made to order on a commission basis, allowing for a more personal and considered approach to its creation.

Designed with versatility in mind, the necklace is interchangeable, allowing it to be worn alone or styled across pieces from other collections and series. Balancing sculptural form with everyday wearability, the work reflects a dialogue between tradition and contemporary jewellery design.
